Section 17.24.050 of the Vernon Municipal Code prohibits any and all cannabis-related business within the City limits. In the first quarter of 2021, the City hosted town hall meetings to explore potential changes/updates to the City’s current prohibition on cannabis. On September 21, 2021, the Council approved an indefinite hold on further action regarding regulation of commercial cannabis businesses.
