On October 18th, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (a light lunch will be provided), a grantmaking workshop will be held in the Vernon Council Chamber. The informative session will be conducted by Jemmott Rollins Group, the City’s Vernon CommUNITY Fund consultant, and will focus on how to build and sustain relationships with funders and what funders look for in grant applications. Attendees will be introduced to a panel of grantmakers from various foundations who will offer insight on their grant programs. A portion of the workshop will also educate attendees on the Vernon CommUNITY Fund mission and application requirements.
