In observance of the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the Vernon Police Department will honor the memories of the individuals that perished in 2001 by conducting a short ceremony on Monday, September 11, at 6:45 a.m. on Vernon's City Hall lawn.

All are welcome to attend this special event that will include a performance of "Taps" and the lowering of the American flag to half-mast.
