The City’s annual Career Day event is scheduled for October 2, 2024 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Vernon Council Chamber (4305 Santa Fe Ave., Vernon, 90058) and via Zoom. In this workshop for high-school, trade, and college students, City staff from various departments will provide info about municipal government and operations and highlight the many internships and career opportunities that exist in the public sector. 

This is a great opportunity to learn about fields like finance, public health, public works, utilities, police, and information technology (just to name a few) as they relate to government agencies.
