On September 11 at 6:45am, the Police Department will conduct a flag ceremony on the front lawn of City Hall to pay tribute to the victims and honor the survivors of the terrorist attacks on our country. Vernon PD will also replace their standard uniform badge with 9/11 memorial badges throughout the month of September to honor the fallen heroes and represent the patriotism shown by first responders during and after the attacks on September 11, 2001. All are welcome to join the Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department for the memorial ceremony.
