The Vernon Business and Industry Commission (VBIC) was established to assist City officials and staff in developing ways to make the City of Vernon more attractive to businesses, employees, and investors, while appropriately considering the needs and concerns of the residential communities within and in close proximity to Vernon.  The Commission is also intended to provide a special forum to address public concerns related to the City’s business and industrial development related costs, procedures, and activities.  The Commission replaces the Ad Hoc Advisory Committees on Electric Rates and Business Development and is the fulfillment of an important element of the City’s good governance reforms.
