Fire Station Tours

Station tours for school groups can be requested by submitting the Fire Station Tour/Visit Our School Application. Requests must be submitted at least one month prior to the desired date of the event. Visits must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Tours will normally be limited to schools within the City of Vernon.  Requests from schools outside of City limits will be referred to the Fire Chief for approval.
  • The outing is limited to 1st Grade level and up.
  • The visit will take approximately 60 minutes
  • Scheduling is within the  hours of 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM  & 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
  • The size of the group is limited to 30 children.
  • Schools will be asked to provide adequate adult supervision.
